RIL is building an e-commerce business that will transform the way grocery shopping is done in India. We are looking for passionate, results-oriented UX professionals with experience in: User research and analysis Journey mapping & persona development Interaction Design Information architecture Wireframes & Prototypes Visual design Usability Testing Iterative UX optimization leveraging usage data from web analytics, A/B testing, user interviews and feedback What will be your key responsibilities? Work as part of a multidisciplinary team constituting product management, analytics, content & engineering to prototype and design interactions on web & app that shoppers will love Own the iterative UX process from prototyping, visual design to design communication and usability testing of developed interfaces as part of periodic releases on app & web stores Plan the store browse, discover, search and checkout experiences to continually increase metrics related to engagement, conversions and average order values Keep up to date with ecommerce, web & mobile design patterns, trends and overall shopper behaviour Be a passionate advocate for the user and incorporate insights from web & app analytics, A/B testing and from conducting periodic user research and usability tests to optimize design Share knowledge, experience and best practices with the rest of the team & working closely with colleagues to brainstorm and create concepts that engage and persuade shoppers

Skills

• 3-7 years of UX experience in the e-commerce/ consumer internet industry or leading interaction design agencies
• Bachelors or Postgraduate qualification in interaction design, human computer interaction or associated subjects from schools such as NID, IDC of IITs, CPDM-IISc, IIIT, MAEER MIT, Symbiosis, Shristi, ISDI Parsons or any leading international school
• Fluency with design tools such as Axure, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Appreciation of leading frontend web and mobile technology frameworks to balance design ambitions with engineering viability
• Ability to communicate tactical and strategic design choices and recommendations to the engineering team to bring design to its full potential
• Experience in designing e-commerce interactions on web and apps on lean and agile program methodologies
