Job Description

Utilize the full spectrum of design methodologies and tools including inspirational boards, concepting, typography, iconography, visual representations of processes, visual design library, and style guides Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications. Understand users deeply: develop or work from user profiles & conduct task analysis, create user scenarios or user stories, help to create and analyze user research. Collaborate cross-functionally with with our existing team of product managers, designers, marketing, sales, and developers to produce high-quality visual designs. Drive user research/usability tests as needed. Synthesize the findings from user research into actionable changes and projects. Handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wireframes for complex web applications.
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
• Fluent in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and other design packages.
• Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research)
• 5+ years of prior UX design experience.
• An online portfolio or samples of work is required

Skills

• 2-4 years of prior design experience
• Have strong visual design skills with experience producing high-quality visual designs from concept to production
• Solid understanding of web design patterns and responsive web design
• Fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator and other graphic packages
• Must have careful attention to detail, and be able to see the big picture
• A degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, & CSS is a plus
• Strong portfolio featuring examples of graphic, visual or interaction design work
