Work closely with the UI and product teams to ensure a world class product is developed Exposure to multiple products and product building challenges Defining functionality, navigation, interaction models and visual design for all the products Create UX deliverables like wireframes, user journeys, flows, personas, etc.

Skills

• At least 2 years of product building experience for a product suite (app, web, software)
• Proficiency in designing applications end to end with a focus on attention to detail
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• Extensive experience with UI design patterns and standard UCD methodologies across multiple platforms
• Candidates with good online portfolio will be given priority
• Ability to research ongoing technology and trends and bring them to life here.
• Experience with Social Media channels is a strong plus

Job Description

POPxo is looking for an experienced mobile UI designer to help us create products (web and app) that will truly delight our users!

Skills

You’d be a great fit if you:

• have experience designing 5+ apps and mobile responsive websites. We currently have 3m users across web and app - 80%+ of whom visit from mobile. Mobile is top priority for us and we are looking for someone who can show us their past mobile work and talk through their design decisions.
• work well in a team environment. You’ll be working closely with the product and tech teams. You need to be flexible and adaptable, understanding the best way to work with each team.
• can work well under time pressure. We do quick releases and then look to improve on them based on user behaviour data. We are looking for someone who is happy designing the “quick” version first and then look at how users respond in order to design the “great” version.
• have a solid understanding of Google’s material design. Our mobile user base is 80% Android so strong familiarity with the native design patterns for Android is a definite plus.

The interview process will include in-person interviews with product and tech as well as a design exercise.
