Job Description

Research interaction design trends and define interaction models, user flows, and UI specifications as per latest design philosophies Define the design philosophy and ensure that these guidelines are followed each interface before the associated feature/interface goes into production. Work with Design team to document design specifications as per the product requirements. Also, ensure the design specs are comprehensible by the development team members Review each feature implementation to check for fidelity & coherence between product requirements, mockups, design specifications, prototypes and feature/interface implementations. Maintain all design assets in a structure that makes them easily accessible for the internal team and record feedback for each iteration Evaluate the technical feasibility of designs by interacting with development teams to ensure delivery within timelines Proactively seek feedback from the development team and clear any design related bottlenecks for product development

Skills

• Ability to explain the design philosophy and guidelines (colour palette, icon designs, typography, etc.) verbally and in writing to anyone.
• Strong familiarity with web and mobile design frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.) and an innate curiosity to stay updated on latest web design and mobile trends.
• Extreme attention to detail and a strong knowledge of aesthetics (layout, grid systems, color theory and typography) to deliver pixel perfect designs and user experiences.
• Hands-on expertise with at-least one design toolkit (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, etc.)
• Good knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS & Javascript). Hands on experience would be preferred
• Knowledge of web / mobile prototyping tools (Invision, UXPin, etc.) would be preferred
• 1 – 4 years of experience in a similar role (e-commerce or gaming). Skills score over experience so we would like to view your project portfolio.
