Collaborating with cross-functional partners to determine appropriate solutions based on research-driven insights and synthesized data Planning and co-leading research in collaboration with Product Management partners Creating journey maps, user stories, user flows, concepts, designs and prototypes for testing, experimentation and development Defining the information architecture, interactions, and visual design of solutions Iterating solutions through critique and usability testing Working together with Engineers to ensure clear understanding and delivery of final designs Facilitating and co-leading conversations to help team members understand and explore, challenges, options, and solutions Working with other designers and partners to ensure we’re establishing clear design patterns and cohesive end-to-end experiences. Co-creating and evangelizing Product Design best practices across the company

Skills

• Expertise in Human-Centered Design and Research practices for software or other complex user-facing systems
• Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights and constructing artifacts to help build shared understanding of user's end-to-end experiences.
• A flexible approach to design methods, thinking creatively about logistical challenges and constraints, and selecting the best methods for the goals and situation at hand.
• A curiosity-driven and analytical approach to exploring opportunities and testing solutions
• Expertise planning and facilitating workshops to build shared understanding and find consensus or divergence amongst collaborators.
• Experience incorporating effective approaches and considerations for inclusive research practices and accessible designs.
• Experience mentoring others on design methods and process.

• Strong interest in learning about and improving how consumers consume and interact with content
