Job Description

We are looking for a Web Designer who is passionate about online marketing, user experience and web design. One to two years professional and detailed graphic design and/or web design experience is desirable but we also welcome enthusiatic and creative freshers.

Skills

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Effective communication skills with the ability to actively listen to clarify project goals, requirements and deadlines

Proficient with both Mac and PC

Understanding of browser capabilities and design constraints on the web, including mobile phones, ipads, etc

Job Description

We are currently seeking a User Interface/User Experience Designer who is passionate about improving the user experience. He or she will demonstrate a strong sense of visual design paired with the ability to assemble different features into a unified web experience, distilling complex interfaces into simple solutions that users find compelling and easy-to-use. The candidate must be a natural collaborator and a great communicator, able to develop and present design ideas to various stakeholders and be responsible for developing web, mobile and cross channel designs through individual contribution and participation in teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. The candidate must excel at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centred design methodologies is a must. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Executing interaction design and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team• Researching interaction design trends• Researching technology trends• Experience in both mobile and desktop users• Able to quickly iterate through multiple concepts and designs, effectively incorporating feedback• Proven ability to translate business objectives into effective visual solutions• Comprehensive understanding of "best practice" design solutions• Enthusiastic team player, effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills• Strong organizational and analytic skills• Detail oriented and able to think abstractly and see the big picture• Self-starter, able to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Skills

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with user interface design methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of common Web project management practices

Skills

2-5 years of user experience design experience for Web applications which leverage emergent technologies
· Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability
· Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
· Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design
· Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and associated design tools
· Experience with user interface design methodologies
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Understanding of common Web project management practices
