Job Description

Illustrate and communicate complex design solutions across uses cases by creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mock-ups. Use data collected from research, user testing and market analysis to create truly user-centric designs. Modify product design and user experiences in accordance with feedback from users and test groups. Develop and maintain understanding of customers, stakeholders, users and their pain points, and workflows. Work closely with other product designers, engineers and product managers. Uphold excellent organizational and time management skills — as well as sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. Incorporate business constraints into design decisions and continually push to creatively handle these constraints. Take complex user challenges and distill them down into simple, elegant user experiences. Become an expert on our clients and end users, working closely with Product to conduct interviews and feedback sessions and identify unmet needs and opportunities. Work collaboratively with the design team — with ability to effectively listen to and respond to feedback as well as constructively critique designs. Understand when to apply established patterns and styles, when to evolve them, or when to leave them behind. Stay up to date / maintain knowledge about product design best practices, trends, products, etc. Utilize exceptional communication skills, particularly written (as a remote company, we heavily emphasize written communication across product, design and engineering teams. Work in close collaboration with global design team

Skills

• 2-4 years of experience with UI/UX design - preferably at least 2 years with enterprise software
• The ability to balance many projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize your time and energy
• Experience working closely with product and engineering from concept to launch, delivering delightful user experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a passion for serving customer needs
• Familiarity with customer research methodologies (e.g. customer interviews, surveys, A/B testing, usability testing)
• Strong design intuition, including most importantly the ability to differentiate between building what is asked for and what is truly needed
• A strong motivation to help people build meaningful connections and achieve their goals through mentorship
• Proficiency in Sketch
• Experience working with a global, remote team is a plus!
• Experience with, Adobe, Zeplin & Invision is a plus!
