Job Description

Identify opportunities for new products (material exploration) Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences Set design requirements based on briefs from the design team Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD) Use 3D modeling software to design products and components Produce prototypes and test functionality Improve the design of existing products Work closely with the shoe design team to suggest improvements for products and processes. Research materials, tools and other relevant design techniques

Skills

• Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
• In- depth understanding of merging technology with 3D printing into luxury fashion & lifestyle products.
• Ability to bring innovation into our product line with regards to materials, fabrics and production process
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and design programs.
• Good knowledge of 3D modeling software
• Technical sound with a deep understanding of material
• Practical yet fearlessly creative personality
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Recommends new tools and technologies by staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques
