Job Description

Identify key opportunities to Improve User Experience across projects and oversee the entire process from inception through delivery. Selling ideas and presenting to all levels of leadership. Plan and conduct research and make meaningful recommendations derived from research. Provide creative and cutting edge solutions to various UX issues that can cater to the business requirements and user experience expectations while adhering to the underlying technology and architecture of the system. Apply data gathered through user testing and usage trends. Provide design guidance and mentorship to user experience designers. Guide the design team through a strong PoV on Interaction Design, Visual Design, Creative Visualization and Responsive Design. Author design specifications, wire-frames, user journey maps, and user research. Lead the recruitment and development of user experience design talent, manage resources, operational plans and oversee project work.

Skills

• Overall 5+ years of experience working in a UX Design role with minimum 3 in the software design team and delivering to design projects.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering elegant, world-class design solutions in fast-paced collaborative team environments.
• Strong candidates will be able to demonstrate a track record of advancing business goals and solving unmet user needs, leading and influencing in a cross-functional context, and using research and data-driven decision making to inform the design of the experience.
• Portfolio and work samples including user-centered design skills, visualizations of complex experiences such as flows, scenarios, personas, etc. (any fidelity), sketches to mid-fidelity interactions (show your process) and clickable prototypes (any fidelity).
• Having Hands-on experience on Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD
• Having Good knowledge in Accessibility Guidelines and able to convey, present and build analytics and satisfy WCAG guidelines.
• Successful track record leading interdisciplinary teams informed by stakeholder and user inputs.
• Work with Project Management to properly allocate and distribute UX resources across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Expert in User Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Usability Reviews, Heuristics, Expert Reviews, Usability Testing.
• Ability to serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader on user experience design across the company, as well as the broader design community (e.g. presenting at conferences, writing articles, teaching, etc.).
• Willing to learn and nurture team players. Engage, share knowledge and play an important role to build great design teams

Job Description

Understand product specifications and user psychology Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback Create personas through user research and data Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success Collaborate with product, engineering, and other team members to scope, prototype, design, build, user test, and release software and communication material to users Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience Communicate design direction for solving users’ problems from concept to implementation. Design intuitive experiences that equally balance wow-factor and usability. Create graphical redlines and requirements for software development teams. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience designing and prototyping UX for software products with HTML5, CSS3, Angular JS, Bootstrap experience or in depth knowledge is required.
• Experience in translating requirements into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes
• Experience in producing Information Architecture, Interaction Designs, customer journey maps, interaction models, sketching, designing digital products
• Experience with writing design guidelines, templates and design patterns
• Ensure adherence to design conventions and best practices (e.g., responsive, accessibility)
• Articulate why the guidelines, patterns, and standards represent good design, with ability to identify situations where an exception can be made.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
• A passion for creating amazing user experiences, an impeccable eye for clean and interesting design, UI/UX skills and are able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and then transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces
