Facilitating the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences Making data-driven design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features Taking a user-centered design approach to identify design problems and devise elegant solutions to rapidly test and iterate Contributing to the development of our design team to promote learning, growth, and innovative thinking across the organisation Initiate, suggest, and spearhead major UI refactoring for a more intuitive user-experience Utilize their in-depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards. Use research-related services, theories and methods to support your recommendations Direct the visual appearance of all new features and enhancements on our software application Strong design aesthetic and the ability to generate ideas

Skills

• Deep passion of design with zero tolerance for bad user experience
• An exceptional portfolio showcasing user experience and visual design work for web applications
• Hands-on experience in Figma
• Degree in a design-related field and / or recognised UX / UI certifications
• Full project lifecycle experience from concept to completion in an agile development process
• Ability to multitask, prioritise projects and communicate across teams with awesome project management skills
• Problem solving mindset with an ability to come up with creative ideas
• Basic knowledge of analytics and using data to drive design decisions
• Good understanding of design systems
