Job Description

· Design and build the user experience for one or more of MyGate’s products across mobile or web platforms · Develop the aesthetic vision for MyGate products across product lines · Document, design, develop, and deliver interaction models, workflows, user interfaces, and related assets for web and mobile applications · Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback · Convey design solutions through various methods including, but not limited to, hi-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes · Conceptualize and develop prototypes, and experiment quickly · Engage with multiple partners, including product managers, engineers, business stakeholders and other designers throughout the implementation cycle · Help recruit and build a best-in-class design team

Skills

· 3-8 years of experience in UX design, primarily on mobile platforms

· Understanding of current design best practices, developments and trends

· Strong visual and aesthetic sense

· Ability to translate thoughts into design using Sketch/XD, Invision or tools of your choice

· Degree in HCI or design, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, and/or visual design

· Customer focus and analytical & data-driven decision making. Use user research, A/B testing and continuous experiments to guide your design thinking

· Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with changing needs

Job Description

A visual designer is responsible for creating high quality visuals from concept to execution across many platforms. He will work with fellow designers to constantly refine myGate design language and create great looking visuals. He will work on print deliverables like flyers, mailers, brochures, business cards and interface design assets for web & mobile apps like icons, infographics, promotional banners.

Skills

• 0 to 4 years of experience of Visual / UI Design
• Creativity along with a thorough knowledge of colour theory, typography, and design principles and standards.
• Should have Illustrator skills to translate ideas and metaphors to a visual storyboarding.
• Can understand UI wireframes and effectively convert them into informative and visually communicative screens.
• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touch points.
• Should have experience in designing for different media - Print, web, mobile, motion graphics and video.
• Command over leading design software, e.g., Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects etc.
• Preferred degree/Diploma in fine art / Applied Art / Graphic Design
• Should be a keen self learner and willing to learn the new advancements in the field of visual design
