“An exciting role as a user experience designer, in a rapidly growing Silicon Valley based technology startup” Your profile:We are a technology product startup in the space of Enterprise Analytics. We are looking for a Creative Designer who will work closely with the Product Team and other business stakeholders of the company to produce designs from concepts. The designer should be a hands-on person who has the ability to think creatively and should be able to produce interface designs that are clean and highly usable. The designer will be a core member of the technology group, who will bring both the art and science of user experience and interface design into the mix. Job Description Collaborate with product management and engineering to define, design, and implement product direction, visuals and experience across various devices - mobile, tablet and desktop mediums. S/he would need to understand business/user goals and the product architecture for re/shaping the product experience as well as the road-mapCreate design deliverables such as specifications, process flows, wireframes, and mock upsCreate sketches, illustrations, prototypes, graphic layouts, etc. to communicate design conceptsInitiate and respond to ideas for innovation/improvements based on research, analysis, and competitive reviewsUse innovation to redefine a design idea/brief within the constraints of resources and timeDemonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and mockupsWork on wireframes, scenario building, information architecture and visual designs for the UI screen along with icon designBe involved in usability testing and feedback based on research and converting them into design solutionWork with developers and testers to make sure what's designed gets translated in codeBased on skills, might also get an opportunity to work on creating world-class communication material like international Campaigns, microsites, e-mailers, brochures, PPTs and flash presentations/videos and build an external or internal team of creative designers

Skills

Experience – 3-5 years of design experience
Good to have front-end web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, HTML5, and CSS3
Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) design and best practices
Should have knowledge about present and future UI trends
Hands on with tools like Adobe Photoshop/Corel Draw/ Adobe illustrator or any other prototyping tool
Knowledge and creativity in icon design
Prior knowledge in mobile design will be an added advantage
Highly enthusiastic to work in a technology startup and can think out of the box.
