Job Description

You’ll be responsible for timely delivery of UX research deliverables with consistent high quality, including some or all internal UX research, outsourced UX research, and the translation and summarization of external research in a format that is consumable and relevant to the project at hand You’ll be planning and executing a design research strategy which are aligned with sprint plans You’ll identify potential research projects You’ll provide research guidance to designers around the areas of usability tests, design methods, etc. You’ll be collaboratively working with product manager, designers and marketing team to plan and execute research products. You’ll be creating artifacts that product teams can act upon: study report, usability reports, user personas, mental models, empathy maps, scenarios and journeys, trend analysis, etc. You’ll be conducting walkthrough session with product and design team to share research finding

Skills

• You’ll bring experience of qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods of user research
• You are a person who has knowledge about both design research and usability testing and are recognized as an influential leader by your subordinates, peers, and management.
• You’ll bring basic knowledge about statistic and analytics
• You should be able to capture and analyze attitudinal and behavioral user behaviors
• You should be good at data analysis and identifying problem areas in app and website
• You’ll bring eexperience in executing usability testing, focus groups, contextual enquiries, field studies, expert reviews, heuristics, etc.
• You should have appropriate knowledge about industry standard templates and documentation process
• You should have experience in planning and executing a design research strategy which are aligned with sprint plans
• You’ll have empathy towards users
• You are highly observant of human behavior.
• You are analytical and able to approach research without bias towards an outcome
• You are able to articulate the principles of and make a business case for a research method
• You are capable of working independently or with a team

Skills

• Candidate should have experience in UX design, research, micro interactions and should know the constraint of front end coding.
• Understanding of design patterns across web and mobile platforms
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter; applicant must be able to push ahead with design projects and drive progress
• Ability to translate UX into final polished UI Design.
• Deep interest in solving design problems
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Invision, Pixate, Framer or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
• Should’ve designed/deployed/scaled mobile application with an aptitude for product sense
• A start up enthusiast who can work in fast sprint work styles.
