Job Description

Responsible for user experience design of MACTORES productivity and business tools for individuals/micro-businesses across web and mobile. Drive the entire UX process from concept to prototyping to execution. Partner with product managers and engineers in visioning new products and features while also advocating for the end user, our Consultants. Contribute new ideas and help articulate concepts through wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes. Develop detailed wireframes, flows to clearly communicate user stories and detailed functional requirements. Be an advocate for an integrated, consistent UI throughout our product portfolio. Help design a cohesive set of design principles and patterns that can be utilized everywhere. Have a point of view on best practices and proven processes for UX. Be an advocate for an integrated, consistent experience and a cohesive set of design principles and patterns to build from. Highly empathetic and user oriented, with a passion for providing design direction driven by user insights.

Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a UX Designer with a passion/interest for designing productivity and business tools.
• Portfolio showcasing a proven track record in creating innovative UX that solves complex design problems for its users. Experience at non-tech companies is a plus!
• Experience with data visualizations is a plus.
• Demonstrated success working with cross-functional, internal and external teams to deliver meaningful products on time. Specific examples of successful working relationships and processes with product management and engineering.
• Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated with a passion for consistency, organization and usability.
• Superior communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate your design decisions (verbally and visually).
• Appreciation of standards; expert understanding of user-centred methods and best practices.
• Expertise and skills in Sketch and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
