Job Description

Work with a tight-knit team of experienced engineers, designers, and quality assurance personnel to define and build the Joveo platform user experience. Drive product vision, strategy and roadmap and collaborate with product teams to compile backlog based on customer needs, market data, and competitive intel Build and prioritize such roadmap based on internal & external customers’ hierarchy of needs Act as Leader, defining product design and acceptance criteria, working with Engineering teams to evolve the stories and accepting stories in a scrum environment Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver engaging and consistent user interfaces Evangelize the value of the technology at executive briefings, marketing events, webinars, as well as other sales and marketing channels

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in UX designing in an agile development setting
• Proven track record in creating user stories & managing products from inception to delivery
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence and build a unified vision across product lines and functional groups without formal authority.
• Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities and attention to detail
• Handson Experience in Sketching, Wireframing, professional experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InVision, Balsamiq etc.
• Experience in Web and mobile development environments with in-depth knowledge of user interface design principles, responsive web design.
• Maturity working in a high velocity high impact team packed with smart and top talent

Job Description

Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various tools to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with engineering and marketing teams Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams to create responsive web and mobile designs, wireframes, screen flows and other programming collateral, using in-depth knowledge of user interface design principles, user-centric design processes, accessibility and usability methodologies Translate strategic direction into the high-quality design within an established brand identity Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system Guide software teams in creating high fidelity implementations of UI designs

Skills

• Demonstrated understanding of branding and marketing, with an ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project.
• Proven ability to produce creative UIs across multiple devices (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet, etc.,) and platforms (Web, Android, iOS, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Interactive Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), graphic design, art, or similar discipline
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InVision, Balsamiq etc.
• Experience in Web and mobile development environments with in-depth knowledge of user interface design principles, responsive web design,
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
• Knowledge of content management systems would be a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Desire and motivation to keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in UI / UX design
