Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the field of user experience design (User research skill/ experience is value add).

• Excellent design ability and amazing attention to detail, along with a proficiency in Adobe CS products.
• Skilled in at least one method of user interface prototyping (e.g. Axure, Sketch, Marvel, Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote)
• Understanding of web accessibility and user interface web standards with a broad knowledge of current and best practices.
• Understanding of mobile design principles

About the role: The User Experience Architect will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of JDA solutions across multiple product suites. The UX Designer is responsible for uncovering actionable insights from user research and to develop meaningful strategies for improving interactive experiences. You will also be responsible for creating wireframes, mock-ups, low and high-fidelity prototypes that are grounded in user-based findings. This position requires a creative visual thinker who has a passion to be continually learning about new technologies, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and strongly believes in advocating the end-user’s needs and behaviors. You will work closely with the UX, development, and management teams. Candidate must demonstrate experience in creating UX design solutions that is based on findings from user research, UCD principles, and best practices. Examples could either be low or high-fidelity prototypes/mockups.
