Job Description

A graphic designer will primarily be responsible for designing, developing and customizing IO solutions. The person with strong interests and capabilities would be responsible in the design and development of workbooks, brochures, magazines, posters, logo designing, banners, emailers and also in designing as well as subsequent printing of training collaterals for workshops. Key elements of the Role Ensure design consistency with client’s development standards and guidelines Improve the User Interface, graphics and user experience of existing products Create new designs for new online products (Web & Mobile) as well as training materials (workbooks) for the workshops Improve user interface, design and user experience of existing online products Vendor management for various printing and web-based activities Hands on working knowledge in and application of toolslike- Corel draw, Adobe photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign (preferable) Updating and improving all training collaterals of workshops Collect feedback from design and technical staff on Website & mobile development needs Understand executing accessibility and progressive enhancement presentation Create conceptual diagrams, visual mock-ups, prototypes, wireframes and user interface roadmaps Conduct usability testing to resolve interface problems Design and build UIs on any server platform in a team environment Coordinate and manage the linkage with the development team

Skills

• Understanding of UI/UX design with knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, a good understanding of usability, and how to design beautiful and modern interfaces.
• Hands-on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw, Sketch and associated design tools.
• Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique.
• Exceptional visual design skills, production value and attention to detail.
• Ability to create wire-frames as well as visual design comps.
• Plan and execute projects from a UI/UX perspective - defining functionality, navigation, interaction models and visual design.
• Research ongoing technology and trends e.g. Material Design.
