Have a great taste in visual design (backed by a good portfolio) Ability to create visuals for mobile (iOS & Android), web apps & responsive websites Prototype designs along with interactions for Web and Mobile apps with no supervision Expert knowledge of responsive design, mobile first approach, iOS & android guidelines Ability to juggle between multiple projects Excellent on typography, alignments, balance & motion Collaborate with product management, engineering and senior executives to create original user-centric designs that reflect business requirements Mentor fellow UX & UI designer, providing training and support as and where necessary. Collate with design director and project manager Deliver new products that span all project phases from concept and design to production Collaborate with multiple client stakeholders with different backgrounds Up to date with general UI trends, best practices, design principles and tools / techniques

Skills

• Strong typography, layout and visual design skills with absolute pixel perfection
• In-depth knowledge of managing and handover of assets to development team
• Degree in Visual Arts, BFA etc will be a bonus.
• Proficient with design tools such as Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Plan, assign, oversee, review and polish UX project deliverables (such as research reports, IA, concepts, wireframes etc.) while partnering with the creative teams and combining branding, strategy and research. Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, articulating, sketching, prototyping anduser-testing experiences for digital products. Initiatives for enhancing knowledge of competitive landscape and usage of UX best practices, methods. Champion the principles of usability and user-centred design internally and with clients in the digital marketing industry. Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. Enhance and improve service offerings, processes, practices and methodologies . Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. Present concepts; facilitate briefing/kick-off sessions and workshops with clients. Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and intuitive micro interactions. Take a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills

• An exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative UX design solutions. Master’s degree from
• NID, IIT, MIT Pune/ BA or MA in Interaction Design, Psychology or HCI, or equivalent experience.
• 8 or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments, large scale websites & mobile application (NOT enterprise applications) including the creation and documentation of navigation structures and information architecture UT and User Research moderation, analysis and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• A solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Principle, Framer etc. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Effective presentation and communication skills (both in conversation and in writing), especially focused on moderation, running work-sessions and articulating and defending design decisions.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
