Job Description

Developing and leading the design vision for a product, ensuring that it aligns with the company's overall goals and mission. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to determine the design direction and requirements for a product. Designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various digital products. Conducting user research and testing to validate design decisions and ensure that products are user-friendly. Mentoring junior designers and providing guidance on design best practices and methodologies. Staying up to date with industry trends, technologies, and tools and incorporating them into design work as appropriate. Communicating design decisions and presenting work to stakeholders and leadership.

Skills

• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work.
• Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• A passion for user-centered design and an understanding of the importance of user research and testing.
• An understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Job Description

Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather user requirements. Use various ideation methods like brainstorming to solve the user’s needs to add value to the company. Explore various design approaches to solve specific user problems. Showcase design ideas through sitemaps, storyboards, and process flows. Implement the latest design innovations to ensure that the product is in accordance with the cutting-edge technology. Define user task flows and interaction models. Create a cohesive style guide to ensure consistent design language is followed across the product. Conduct user research Create user personas Conduct customer and competitor analysis. Create prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups to demonstrate the functioning and layout of the product. Optimize UI designs and tests for intuitiveness Conduct usability testing to identify gaps in design and see if they can be further improved.

Skills

• Hands-on experience and proficiency in Wireframing, design, and any one of the prototyping tools like Sketch, Sketchapp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision studio, Axure Pro, Framer X Invision Studio Sketchapp Invision Proto.io MS Visio Adobe XD UxPin XD and Adobe CC.
• In-depth knowledge of Android/iOS mobile UI design patterns
• Strong illustration, iconography and mobile & website design ability with sensitivity to user system interaction
• Strong believer of mobile-first and responsive design
• Good understanding of Material Design principles and W3C specifications
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS4, JavaScript, Bootstrap
• Familiarity with development frameworks such as Angular, React
• Experience with bug tracking toolsets.
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from and to your peers
• A portfolio of quality examples of your work as it relates to this position
• Excellent communication skills
