Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and content strategists to define problems and goals; map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services. Design product concepts that balance vision, craft, speed, and business needs. Run projects end to end with engineers to drive your Business pod's vision to the finish line. Create new interactions that are intuitive, practical, and convergent. Evolve our design system intentionally as we scale. Solve complex interactions through prototyping or motion design. Lead a product charter and mentor designers or interns. Storytelling and communicating effectively, openly, and often. Swiftly and smoothly move from strategy to ideation to execution. Help hire and grow the team.

Skills

• You can create clear, intuitive, and visually appealing human interfaces.
• You can untangle vague conceptual problems and have a sharp intuition for the most accessible mental models and flows so users can immediately start gaining value out of the product.
• You're a good listener who collaborates well with different stakeholders. You observe and internalize all inputs and feedback to help you reach an optimal decision.
• You care about the business needs, implications, and practicality of your designs. You don't get stuck on pretty UI or deep abstractions and can balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
• You have hired & mentored a design team in the past or up-skilled the team through various initiatives.
• You invest in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc, in your free time or at least have a genuine curiosity in this space.

Job Description

Gather and prioritize key questions from product, design, engineering and product marketing teams. Plan and conduct practical, impactful research throughout the entire product cycle from inception to completion, to answer the questions posed above and driving impact. Gather insights about customers from a variety of research methods, including in-depth interviews, usability studies, diary studies and surveys etc. Analyze qualitative and quantitative results and convey relevant insights to the appropriate stakeholders in the most engaging and actionable manner. Work closely with product teams to help them use research insights to make Groww better. Work closely with analytics and data science to tell a cohesive story about our product. Act as an internal evangelist for customer and product research.

Skills

• Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis for generative and evaluative research.
• Experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams
• Excellent research execution skills including scoping, moderation, analysis and synthesis.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Strong story-telling skills and an ability to frame insights into compelling narratives
• Familiarity with developing or using product / marketing frameworks to align cross-functional teams.
• Experience of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and perform a wide variety of research-related tasks, including recruiting participants, liasioning with agencies, partnering with various teams to collaborate on projects.
