Skills

• Experience with Angular 2+
• Require JS, Knockout, Bootstrap or other similar frameworks
• Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol
• Experience working with other JavaScript frameworks is highly desired
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Some exposure to cloud computing, virtualization technologies, and big data Familiar with object-oriented design techniques and software design patterns Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and Agile development methodologies

Job Description

FICO UX team is looking for a full time User Experience Designer to join the FICO UX team to design user interfaces and experiences that are useful, usable and desirable. In this role, you will create the user interaction model, information architecture, visual design, prototypes, and guidelines for FICO user interfaces. You will create UI requirements based on product requirements, functional requirements, business goals, and company-wide strategic objectives. You will create new conceptual screens and visual assets using guidelines and design patterns. You will present ideas and designs in tangible forms (e.g., sketches, graphic mockups, prototypes), and work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately and integrate with existing frameworks. You will also have the opportunity to participate in or conduct user and design research including: usability studies, user surveys, prototype testing and latest industry & design trend research.

Skills

* Experience in designing user interfaces as a member of a user experience and design team

* Excellent understanding of principles of interface design and use of interactive technologies to build relationships with users

* Proven experience developing creative solutions to complex problems

* Ability to work in a collaborative environment on projects

* Experience working with Enterprise software; additional experience with Consumer and Mobile products a strong plus

* Excellent communication skills

* Degree any of the following: HCI, Information Systems, Interface Design, Human Factors, Computer Science, and/or Cognitive Psychology

* Online portfolio with a range of interactive samples REQUIRED INTERACTION DESIGN SKILLS: * Working knowledge of graphic design applications (such as Adobe Photoshop)

* Experience with wire-framing tools such as Axure, Sketch, Omnigraffle

* Experience of designing wire-frames and prototypes in a fast-paced development environment

* Be able to create rapid iterations of visual and/or storyboard concepts, as well as the ability to design for dynamic content.
