Job Description

The A/B Testing Developer is responsible for developing highly engaging user experiences. This role is responsible for technical direction, domain expertise, feasibility analysis, and ultimately, the realization of business and functional requirements of A/B tests. This role will work hand-in-hand with work with a team whose sole focus is using A/B testing methodologies to develop and test improvements to the customer experience on JCP.com.

Skills

• Day-to-day support of A/B testing activities by working closely with Testing Managers, web development (front-end UI), and software design team for production, modification and maintenance of web applications
• Utilizing Adobe Target platform to develop and unit test software that meets business requirements and technical design
• Work directly with other JCPenney IT associates as well as JCPenney business customers to communicate technical capabilities
• Troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementations
• Propose new ideas when there is strong business value and stay up to date on the latest technology trends and techniques
• Familiar with : Data Structures, Algorithms, and general Computer Science Fundamentals,ReactJS , Redux/Redux Saga , NodeJS/npm , Web pack , ES6/Babel , Chai/Mocha , RESTful API , AWS , PostCSS

Job Description

· Architect our mobile web offering to scale to hundreds of millions of devices and traffic while also allowing for quick iterations. · Work closely with UX/UI, product management and other teams to conceive, create &design unique mobile web experiences. · Partner with the digital platform, enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure maximum scalability, elasticity, and extensibility of the digital platform · Manage seamless integration of mobile technologies across projects · Identify industry best practices for mobile responsive-adaptive web experiencesand service-oriented architecture · Advocate dev standards&frameworks in a test-driven development environmentto maximize quality, efficiency & productivity · Promote and evolve Agile Scrummethodology including lean requirements, delivery-focused rapid sprints, continuous integration, empowerment of individuals, elimination of waste and bureaucracy · Serve as an expert / consultant on technologies related to mobile& retail · Recruit, develop and retain an exceptional mobile team

Skills

· Passion for retail, technology, experience design and open source solutions

· Current or previous hands-on experience leading multiple developer teams in mobile and tablet retail commerce

· Experience leveraging SOAs with 3rd party software solutions and building API-driven ecommerce or mobile apps / web

· Deep understanding of the key systems required in multi-channel retail

· 4 to 8 years of experience in front-end web experience, particularly with HTML5, OOPS, JavaScript Developer, React.js , CSS3 and WAP

· Thorough knowledge of front-end web experience, particularly with HTML5, Java Script, Angular.js, CSS and WAP

· Thought leadership in responsive and adaptive web design, restfulAPIs, JSON/XML, networking protocols

· Strong portfolio of responsive-adaptive web experiences created under your leadership

· Successful track recordas a hands-on developer

· Strong technical competency with ability to lead by example

· Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills

· Strong professional and personal network of relevant technical talent

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field required, Master’s degree preferred
