Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, widgets and build page navigation buttons and search fields. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like. Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

Skills

• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Photoshop.
• Candidates with a good online portfolio will be given priority.
• You possess a Degree in Design or related field from a top tier institute.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can articulate your ideas to different stakeholders.
• Ability to understand the business problem, identify the key challenges, formalize the problem, and prototype solutions.
• Consistent track record of documenting, synthesizing, and communicating results.
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, collaborative, with an eagerness to learn.

Job Description

As a Frontend Developer, you will be designing and building modules in React within the Docsumo webapp. The webapp is the main way for customers to consume Docsumo APIs. You'll work closely with Design and Backend Engineering teams, a close-knit group of engineers who incubate new capabilities from whiteboard sketches all the way to finished apps. We take a product-centric approach to research & development, working closely with our customers to identify opportunities and putting as much care into product design as raw capability.

Skills

• Should have executed a production level end to end UI application on his own
• Must have a full-time degree in Computer Science or similar (Statistics/Mathematics)
• Excellent command over HTML5, CSS, Javascript & React, Redux
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and push new features and innovative front-end solutions.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
• Consistent track record of documenting, synthesizing, and communicating results.
• Familiarity with Version Control tools such as Git
• Agile principles and processes including (but not limited to) standup meetings, sprints and retrospectives
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases with hands-on experience in at least one database system
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, collaborative, with an eagerness to learn
