Job Description

Seeking a full-time frontend web developer to work on a live, exciting customer-focused project with a Microsoft Azure-based distributed backend infrastructure that powers both a live storefront and data-driven mobile applications.

Skills

• At least 3 years of experience writing Web Applications
• Must have a B.S. in Computer Science or similar degree from an accredited university
• Ability to provide portfolio of past work and projects
• Accomplished English language proficiency

• Highly collaborative within a global business and work well with offshore UX Designers
• Self-driven, results-oriented developer who strives to write clean, extendable and well commented code
• Drives their software through the ‘final 10%’ to take a product to market
• Able to exercise creative freedom to make a great design
• Experience with frontend development for ASP.NET applications
• Ability to implement prototype front-ends with a UI/UX Designer and ensure its technical feasibility
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable (JavaScript) code and libraries for future use
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Ability to create awesome looking websites with CSS
• Embraces unit testing of JavaScript source code
• Willingness to work on a team and can work in a fluid, highly collaborative environment
• Must demonstrate a passion for writing software and building stuff
