Job Description

Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Skills

• 3-5+ years of user-centric UI/UX experience
• Demonstrable UI/UX design skills
• Strong portfolio (please include link or examples in job application)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience using MVVM Javascript frameworks (AngularJS, KnockOutJS, etc) preferred
• Experience in creating wireframing, storyboards, user flows & process flows
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
• Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively and effectively
• Ability to successfully lead projects
• Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
• Degree in design, interaction design, or related preferred

Job Description

Create and design meaningful UX deliverables (wireframes, visual designs, prototypes) for multiple ongoing projects Understand our user needs through research, surveys, etc; and compose solutions that measurably enhance the product experience. Work directly with our project manager, engineers, and other designers to ensure that we maintain a high-quality user experience. Quickly and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback into designs. Provide static artifacts, high fidelity mocks, or interactive prototypes to support your concepts.

Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of UX / UI design experience with a portfolio documenting examples
• Proficiency in wireframing, visual designing and prototyping user experiences across responsive web and mobile app platforms
• Ability to tackle complex problems, and a thoughtful approach to user flow, information hierarchy and interactive details
• Experience with industry standard user experience research methods (data analysis, surveys, usability tests, etc.)
• Expert experience with industry standard design tools (Adobe CC, Sketch, Invision, etc.)
• Ability to understand and write basic HTML/CSS is a plus
• Strong front-end language knowledge (HTML/CSS, Javascript, etc.) preferred
• Experience with frameworks and libraries (Bootstrap, ReactJS etc.)
