Job Description

Lead the UX design effort of websites, web and mobile applications and ensure a human-centered design approach. Analyze customer, business, and product needs and requirements with product owners and other related stakeholders. Design layouts, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to assess product viability and user experience. Define and perform usability testing across internal and external stakeholders. Iterate designs based on usability testing, findings and/or feedback provided by relevant stakeholders. Define and write user stories, use cases and test cases when applicable. Define product user experience, process flows and detailed human computer interactions. Conduct user research to generate insights and validate designs. Collaborate effectively with team members, product owners, and other project stakeholders. Manage your time across multiple projects; provide sound time and level-of-effort estimates.

Skills

• BS in Design, BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
• Demonstrable strong knowledge UX methodologies and processes.
• 4+ years of professional experience in UX design.
• Proficiency in human-centered design and usability.
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, wire-framing tools & InvisionApp.
• Problem-solving aptitude. Analytical mind with a business acumen.
• Supply chain experience a PLUS++
• Excellent communication skills.

Job Description

Understand product specifications and user psychology. Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback. Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability). Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience. Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering. Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as a UX, UI & Web & Application Designer or similar role.
• Demonstrable UX, UI and graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
• BSc in Design, BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Analytical mind with a business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills.
