Job Description

Designing the user experience for both new and existing web applications and products Lead and guide the design team to strive for consistency and innovation in product design Working closely with engineering, product/program management, design team and company leaders to successfully go from early-stage product concepts to launch. Conducting A/B testing on layout elements Developing the Information Architecture Working on visuals, fonts, typography, etc Influencing product design with your usability knowledge Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time. Take ownership of product user experience and design the interactions and interfaces Document design rules and design pixel perfect mock-ups and guide the team to craft beautifully composed layouts and deftly carved pixels Conceptualizing, designing and prototyping new features across all our products and conducting frequent, iterative usability testing in parallel with development (includes producing user flows, wireframes, UI specifications and final graphics with a strong visual design element) Reviewing product analytics to derive behavioral insights for adoption, growth and engagement strategies You will be expected to research and apply user-centered design processes to create high quality user experiences, and reusable mocks and wireframe templates for various products. You will also be involved in mentorship and training of peers as well as members of other teams on relevant topics. Impart day-to-day strategic design leadership that fosters a shared understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology requirements, and business goals.

Skills

• Strong portfolio showcasing web UI/UX skills
• Ability to prototype and build what you design using HTML, HTML5 , CSS and CSS3
• 4+ years experience in UI/UX or web design.
• Understand information architecture and be able to make user flows and wireframes
• Good understanding of layout and typography
• Deep adherence to usability principles
• Analytical and data interpretation ability
• Leadership qualities to guide team achieve design goals
• Ability to translate complex applications into simple, beautiful user-experiences
• Acquainted with the latest design trends and practices
• You are very comfortable with creating user interface prototypes and wireframes on paper, powerpoint, visio or prototyping tools such as Axure / Balsamiq
• You are extremely process oriented - and tend to create reusable templates, effective guidelines, best practices, training modules etc.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate and advocate for users
