Job Description

Write neat, semantic, indented and thoroughly commented code for HTML, CSS and Javascript. Assist back-end developers with effective implementation of front-end templates, HTML, CSS and Javascript to develop e-commerce websites. Troubleshoot any front-end technical or performance issues that may arise. Self-manage development tasks and proactively raise issues, concerns and suggestions to the stakeholders.

Skills

• Good Command on Web development, HTML 5 and JavaScript.
• Experience in JavaScript libraries like jQuery and native JS for DOM manipulation.
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Experience in using CSS architecture patterns for code reusability and building reusable components/libraries
• Working knowledge in React JS applications (JSX)
• Experience in developing UI for responsive websites
• Good understanding of SEO principles and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with task runners and build tools, such as Grunt or Gulp
• Strong teaming and communication skills to collaborate with UX organization, back-end engineering and QA team.
