Job Description

Champion the user experience of the product working closing with Product managers, engineers and end-users. Drive user-centered designs; translate user and business needs and technical capabilities into dynamic and innovative products that provide the best possible user experience using Design thinking methodology. Develop workflows, user task analysis, personas, interaction flows, wireframes, low fidelity mock-ups, navigational flows, and high fidelity prototypes. Conduct user research through every stage of the product lifecycle; creating and analyzing research reports, conducting heuristic evaluations and performing low fidelity coffee shop usability tests. Follow and develop guidelines, standards, and design processes and ensure that they are fully integrated into the customer-centered product development lifecycle. Work closely with UI front end and architects to deliver the final product.

Skills

1. Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Axure, Invision, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
2. HTML, CSS is a plus.
3. Bachelors or Masters in User Experience Research & Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science or Digital Design. is a definite plus.
4. Able to articulate design concepts and prototypes, with the ability to define your "vision" for the project in a variety of ways - written, visually and verbally.
5. Prior experience in networking domain producing designs that scale across multiple platforms for Enterprise and Service provider class applications and services is a definite plus.

Job Description

Work closely with a team of Product Managers and Designers (UI/UX) to create an intuitive, cohesive and seamless user experience across all products. Collaborate with Product Management to influence product strategy and roadmap. Work with the Engineering team to ensure technical business needs are met while maintaining a strong focus on the user experience. Advocate and be the voice of Cisco's customers in the Company's product development process. Distill complex problems and propose simple, elegant solutions. Create a signature experience for Cisco software and solutions that are aligned to the Company's brand values.

Skills

• 3+ years designing user experiences and interaction design for rich, interactive, consumer or enterprise web applications.
• A track record of success communicating and driving a design vision.
• Experience collaborating with senior executives to understand business objectives; ability to present design goals, process and vision to senior leadership.
• Expertise in defining and implementing user experience guidelines; demonstrated experience with industry/platform standards.
• Experience in conceptual development and rapid creative prototyping as well as tactical UI design and implementation.
• Project management experience; experience with various design methodologies and processes including Agile development.
