Job Description

Develop compelling designs, stories, concepts, visual designs, and prototypes. Deep understanding of UX principles, Information Architecture, Usability techniques, and UI patterns. ​​Skilled in designing UI from scratch as well as existing UI improvements. Help to formulate our internal visual design strategy, and ensure visual design excellence. Executing layouts, typography, iconography, color theory, and compositions to design with artistry, creativity, and mastery. Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods. Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.) Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards. Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers.

Skills

• An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in typography, illustration, and visual design.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Creative ideas with a problem solving mindset.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
• Expertise in Figma, Sketch, XD, image editing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Powerpoint, and Keynote.
• Understanding of desktop and mobile applications and image requirements.
• Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
• Experience with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.
• Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Basic understanding of motion and animation software such as After Effects is a plus.
