• Figma experience
• Team management via Jira
• Expert proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch etc
• Excellent typography and layout skills and have experience designing successful and well thought out user interfaces.

Job Description

Own medium and small-scale projects from start to finish under the guidance of fellow UX/Creative Lead Plan and execute competitor, market and customer research Assist in the design and facilitation of client workshops to understand and inspire our clients’ vision Gather and translate customer and business requirements into defined specifications Develop and maintain information architecture and prototyping deliverables that push the boundaries of incredible experience using tools such as Figma, Sketch and InVision Define innovative user interfaces that result in improved user experience/productivity Collaborate with neighboring departments throughout each phase of the project cycle to drive decisions, reusability, mitigate issues and ensure that business and tech specifications are implemented Have strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders, including client management

Skills

• Knowledge of Figma, InVision Studio, InVision DSM and Adobe XD
• A portfolio of web-based UX work with experience in e-commerce sites, B2B and B2C
• Solid understanding of key user experience concepts/best practices and how it fits into the world of responsive web design
• Proven, hands on experience in Sketch, OmniGraffle (or similar), Axure and InVision with the ability to create the entire information architecture (we build 90%+ of our projects in Sketch + InVision)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and experience in a client-facing role
• Basic knowledge of agile, lean and Iterative methodologies
• Basic understanding of “mobile first” methodologies
• Ability to create a basic clickable prototype
• Ability to articulate your design decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication and experience using this in a client-facing role

Job Description

Create sitemaps, user flows, wireframes and other tools to communicate information architecture. Document design and project methodology. Develop simple interactive prototypes. Define UX & UI standards and best practices. Lead the development of the UX/UI practice of the Development Team. Translate customer and user needs and requirements into relevant, simple, elegant, and powerful UI Experiences that encourage adoption, signups and/or conversion. Conduct usability testing of web apps (SaaS), websites, tools and apps. Sell, support, explain, and simply present designs and UI design methodology to clients of varying audiences. Create beautiful and usable interface designs that will direct front-end developers on execution of a final product. Refine existing internal UX/UI internal processes

Skills

• Strong portfolio of applying user-centered design practices to website design (web software, SaaS, mobile app design).
• Experience designing responsive and mobile-friendly web experiences.
• Experience with interaction design analysis and prototyping tools, e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Balsamiq, Axure.
• Experience creating audience personas, information architecture, wireframes, user flows.
• Ethic of evidenced-based design decision-making, using audience research and analytics to drive decision-making.
• Previous experience partnering with development teams.
• Work experience with large, reference- and transaction-oriented websites and responsive design methodologies / systems.
• Strong presentation, advocacy and communication skills.
• Strong familiarity with production-level code (HTML/CSS/JS) for emails, landing pages, rich internet apps (RIA), and websites.
• 4-15+ years’ experience in web design, UX design or UI design.
• 2 or more years of design leadership experience overseeing user-centered design methodologies, user centered design and usability.
• BA/BS Degree in human factors, graphic design, behavioral science, computer science (with HCI focus) psychology, user experience design or closely related discipline.
