Help us shape the future of Booking.com's flight services. Be part of a super talented, diverse, inclusive, international and collaborative team. Learn, understand, and apply Booking's brand standards, design systems, principles, and guidelines and use them in your work. Own cross-vertical user flows and design documentation. Work closely with stakeholders across the company to implement bookings management models, such as check in experience, customer support and all other unique attributes of the post-bookings experience. Effectively utilises a variety of research and data to better understand and design for user needs and to inform design decisions, validate hypotheses and document insights. Seeks out timely feedback and critique as fuel to improve design solutions and strategy. proactively seeks collaboration and co-design opportunities to provide well-rounded user experiences and shows a willingness to iterate to define and refine solutions. Creates high-quality design assets and solutions for their team and tracks to improve the overarching user experience, usability and accessibility of the product(s). Acts consistently advocating for end-user needs and perspectives in product area discussions, reviews, and critiques. Communicates effectively, candidly, collaboratively and constructively, so that team objectives are met, and rapport and trust are established.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of desktop and web UI design methods, utilisation of accessibility practices and design systems, and related the principles, concepts, and theories of product design.
• A successful track record of designing and shipping projects as evidenced in resume and portfolio.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing product management, copywriting, research, brand.
• Expertise in core design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and familiarity with corporate collaboration and communication tools and software.
• Informing design approach and solutions based on customer insights garnered from quantitative and qualitative data and on business priorities.
• Strong communication, influence, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Skills

• A solid understanding of design methods and processes.
• A successful track record of designing and shipping projects as evidenced in resume and portfolio
• Large corporate software product and design development preferred
• Advanced knowledge of desktop/web and mobile user interface design
• Expertise in core design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and familiarity with corporate collaboration and communication tools and software
• Advanced knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of product design and related areas of copywriting, research, brand development
• Informing design approach and solutions based on customer insights garnered from quantitative and qualitative data and on business priorities
• Experience creating/leveraging design systems or reusable, accessible design components preferred
• Strong communication, influence, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Specialized skills such as visual design, information architecture, animation, systems design, brand implementation a plus
• Experience working on a product spanning across multiple cultures / languages a plus
