Job Description

Working with product managers to understand the market and its largest problems. Crafting, planning and executing market problem research to help the team focus on the right problems to solve. Being bold and creative while creating options; being critical and thoughtful while converging on the best solution. Being market and user's goal driven while converging on solutions. Prototyping ideas rapidly to assess viability and design the fine grained details of interactions. Bridging the last mile of product development by refining your design usability testing, being proactive in trade-off discussion with engineering, and participating in QA process. Writing, presenting, and sharing what you have learned; both with internal stakeholders and with the wider UX community via our blog, books, and events.

Skills

• A portfolio with a minimum of 3 mature UX case studies that demonstrates user-centered design solutions with measurable outcomes (personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes)
• Excellent visual design skills
• Great eye for detail, and confidence in your design expertise and ability to communicate clearly and translate ideas to stakeholders and team members alike. Every design decision should have strong rationales.
• Prototyping ideas rapidly to assess viability and design the fine grained details of interactions and gathering feedback from various stakeholders.
• Experience in building and shipping complex applications or software.
• Excellent self starter who can initiate projects that elevate the UX status quote of Bloomreach, which includes improvements of product design processes.
• Familiarity with Design systems design and development and ability to produce design specifications
• Ability to champion user-centered design methods and standard methodologies of research and design techniques, including journey mapping, personas, task analysis, prototyping, and usability testing
• Technical expertise that helps you bridge gaps between engineering and design environments
• Able to bridge the last mile of product development by refining your design usability testing, being proactive in trade-off discussion with engineering, and participating in QA process.
