Job Description

Lead design efforts across multiple engagements and be the design partner for assigned product verticals: Intercompany Identify and present short- and long-term improvement opportunities to cross-functional teams and leadership Support and adhere to BlackLine Design System and best practices and work with other designers as needed Audit and assess the impact of UI design and usability changes Set up and own metrics Evangelize design thinking and lean UX Job Description Facilitate internal and external workshops for learning and alignment Run quantitative and qualitative research activities Collaborate and align with product management and engineering teams Deliver hands-on design execution from conceptualization to the final product Contribute to scope, estimate and plan design efforts Emphasize and advocate users Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• Ability to lead and incorporate design thinking process
• Competent in general user research, user needs evaluation, metrics and measurements, IA, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, stakeholder management, design strategy and planning, and workshop facilitation
• Expert knowledge of responsive design and mobile UI
• Expert knowledge in Figma
• Experience in design processes, methodology, and lean UX
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills to articulate concepts, feedback and rationale and promote design led initiatives
• Ability to influence and persuade around design concepts
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members beyond product and engineering
• Kind, positive, easy to with team player with strong work ethics
• Strong design portfolio to demonstrate above qualifications to be considered
• Formal portfolio presentation is required during interview
