Job Description

This technical role is responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing and documentation of changes/new requirements coming to BarclaysNow in order to extend and enhance the functionality of the product to achieve various business objectives. Developing and maintaining strong relationships across key stakeholders Liaising, and working closely, with the peers within and outside team, keeping the stakeholders updated on progress against milestones. Highlight and managing risks and issues via effective controls and standard Barclays processes Enhance and improve the application development capability of own team and via automation and innovation.

Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Relevant years of experience with UI tech stack
• Using HTML 5, Javascript, CSS,Jquery, Lodash, Java, JSP, Struts 2
• Angular 4, Responsive grid framework, Twitter bootstrap, Ionic
• SASS, Less ,Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, Node.js, Jasmine, Protector, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins
• Application servers (Tomcat, Apache, NGINX) and Version Control Software ( Git)

Job Description

Responsible for developing and producing Graphical elements of Digital user interfaces / User Experience

Skills

• Working from upstream design specifications (wireframes and the equivalent), or from suggested approaches, develop a variety of graphical design artefacts, including –
• High fidelity page / screen / interface designs / artwork.
• Graphical interface assets required for coding purposes (e.g. range of images, CSS specifications).
• Styling guides / specifications to support correct downstream coding and development activities.
• Bootstrap, HTML, CSS knowledge.
• Ensure designs are consistent with / follow broader style guides / specifications currently being used.
