Job Description

Take full ownership and responsibility of projects to every detail and every step of the product journey. Demonstrate a deep understanding of fundamental visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, composition, color, composition, layout) Work closely with product leads, engineering leads, and data scientists to shape products and impact their roadmap and strategy. Take part in ideation, planning, and prioritization of our diverse range of products & features, keeping the short and long-term goals of the organization in mind. Apply UX principles, extensive personal knowledge and user research data to build user interfaces and other user interactions that implement information designs, user workflows wireframes, and prototypes Strategize, prioritize and drive design-led projects. Also, help to extend the existing design systems and build new ones. You will set the bar high. You know what quality looks like and how to help product teams ship at that quality with minimal impact on velocity. Iterate upon and improve the design processes to introduce the best practices within the team. Bring in the user to the center of the process and encourage design decisions to be backed by user behavior and data. Create frameworks and guidelines for the team to deliver better and faster. Conduct design reviews and status meetings. Facilitate design sprints, workshops, brainstorming sessions.

Skills

• A portfolio of amazing design work, executed either by yourself or a team that you led, conveys an ability to ship successful products that people love.
• Experience working as a UX designer with an in-house Design team or at a Design agency.
• Experience working as a UI designer with an in-house Design team or at a Design agency.
• A great understanding of Visual Design with relentless attention to detail and consistency.
• Have experience shipping multiple products and understand what it takes to create mind-blowing experiences
• Have a technical mind, interested in code and architecture of digital products Familiarity with the capabilities and constraints of several of today’s and tomorrow’s digital devices and platforms
• Understand business and strategy, and align solutions with them
• User and data-focused design mentality.
• Knowledge of Agile or Lean UX or product methodologies and experience working in a collaborative, agile environment is a plus.
