Understanding business stakeholders’ goals and objectives and how they relate to and impact product decisions. Collaborating with product management and stakeholders to define the business problem using human-centered design. Building a deep understanding and empathy for our customers, and partners, and distilling learnings into consumable artifacts that resonate with our business. Synthesize and effectively communicate qualitative and quantitative discovery/research insights to insights informing design decisions. Working with Product Owners, stakeholders, and Agile teams to develop solutions with modern UI with exceptional user experience. Translate complex tasks into intuitive, accessible and easy to use designs. Utilizing design thinking concepts and tools to inform a robust user experience Creating wireframes, prototypes and solicit user feedback to inform design. Ensuring that solutions adhere to the Arcadis UX/UI guidelines and are accessible to all users. Contributing to the Arcadis UI/UI and design thinking toolkits.

Skills

• Experience with performing UX/UI design as part of an Agile approach.

Job Description

The UX/UI developer will be responsible for conducting user research; creating wireframes, designs and HTMLs; and ultimately aligning user behaviour to actions that drive results. You will work alongside other engineers, developers and marketers collaborating on and iterating the user experience of our web-based enterprise platform. The successful candidate will be a developer at heart with an eye and appreciation for well-designed products, as well as an end-to-end thinker and problem solver. Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals and experience Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Create concepts, wireframes and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiences Design and create mock-ups and user journeys for a wide range of devices including mobile Strategically create new features and functionality based on user stories and behaviour Develop a rapid design and testing methodology

Skills

• Strong familiarity with HTML5, CSS, front-end styling and component frameworks
• Experience using MVVM JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React JS, etc.)
• Expert knowledge of build systems like Gulp/Webpack and version control (Git)
• Expertise in building responsive and/or mobile interfaces
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wireframing tools
