Job Description

Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets Develop, create and execute upon concepts and visual ideas for all forms of communication, training and learning materials Build page navigation buttons and search fields Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) Create animation and interactive eLearning graphical elements Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images Brainstorm ideas on creative, execution, and overall product Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Design e-newsletters, e-vites, direct mail, web sites, micro sites, video production, sales/marketing collateral, brand development initiatives, conference event ideas/materials, etc. Ability to communicate upwards, downwards and laterally

Skills

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Knowledge of wireframe tools
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Animate, Captivate or equivalent and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail in graphics, layout and typography
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 , CSS3, JavaScript
• Demonstrated quick turnaround of high quality projects
• Demonstrated flexibility in multiple task assignments while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, preferably Multimedia and Web Design
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Graphic Designer and UI/UX designer required
