Participating in research, planning, and design of functionality for SolidWorks products Creating wireframes and User Interface (UI) concept mockups Creating low, medium, and high fidelity UI prototypes Writing UI specifications Conducting user research and usability tests

Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a UX Designer is required, as is a portfolio of previous design work
• BE or equivalent experience in User Experience Design or a related area such as Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or Multimedia Design
• Previous experience with SolidWorks or other 3D software is desirable, but not required
• Sketch and express ideas quickly and fluidly
• Create wireframes and other UI concept prototypes
• Discuss design ideas and design rationale, both orally and in writing
• Conduct usability tests and other forms of user research and feedback
