Job Description

Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand consistent interfaces for mobile and web sites
• Work closely with stakeholders to collect requirements and verify feasibility of design
• Work directly with our developers to rapidly prototype, test, iterate and finalize creative concepts and designs

Skills

Advertising Agency, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, grid-systems, responsive web design
• Experience designing and developing web pages using latest frameworks. Knowledge and experience building prototypes in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Ability to take layout/concept and write necessary front-end code to make it functional
• Understanding of UX and UI design, particularly with maximizing usability and mobile designs
• Creation of code that work well across browsers and platforms, including mobile
• Strong knowledge of design principles, issues, and techniques
• Ability to prototype in vector tool of choice (Illustrator, Sketch, etc.)
• Proven ability to complete rapid prototyping, and deliver/support production-quality code
• Experience on PHP development environment is a plus
• Understanding of the LAMP and able to work with these technologies
• Experience working with CMS systems and the ability to develop with/on one

Job Description

• Work collaboratively with Performance Analytics team, effectively integrating your design expertise inside a truly agile environment directly affecting ServiceNow products.
• Address Performance Analytics business problems by proposing design solutions
• Prepare detailed mockups and prototypes
• Adjust design solutions to the technical requirements of the development teams
• Provide a consistent experience across the mobile and desktop platforms.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the company style guide to provide examples of core platform components and best practices.

Skills

• BA/BS/MA/MS degree in Design or equivalent experience in the fields of Web and Mobile Development, Visual Design, or Interaction Design.
• 7+ years' industry experience in interactive visual design and/or user experience.
• Deep knowledge of usability best practices for web and mobile applications.
• Mobile and web application design experience across various platforms (iOS, Android, Windows) including an understanding of responsive web design.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end design process with a broad spectrum of hands-on skills including stakeholder interviews, storyboarding, facilitating workshops, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Experience in designing applications from sketches to wire-frames to high-fidelity mockups.
• Experience working with agile, lean and iterative development processes.
• Experience with front-end development, including HTML, HTML5, CSS, Sass and/or JavaScript is preferred.
• Experience creating rapid prototypes.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills, as well as a solid knowledge of typography, color theory, UI design and layout principles.
• Experience implementing brand guidelines as part of a design system.
• Strong presentation, written and English speaking verbal communication skills.
• The ability to understand and defend design decisions as well as listen and incorporate feedback into the design.
• Strong portfolio that showcases the breadth of your work with details of your role on each project—from the initial concept to design delivery.
• Able to onboard and mentor new members of the UX organization as the team grows.
• Experience designing for enterprise software is a plus.
