Job Description

We are looking for a top-notch UI engineer between 2-5 years of experience to join our Engineering team in Bangalore/Mumbai.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and monitoring the UI for cutting edge fintech server applications.

Skills

• Good understanding and hands-on development experience in HTML5, XHTML,
• CSS, Bootstrap, Angular JS, jQuery, JavaScript.
• Expert in creating CSS based Grid / Liquid layouts / Responsive web development.
• Exposure to UI /JS / CSS frameworks such as jQuery, LESS / SaaS, BootStrap, Node.js, Backbone.js, React.js etc
• Creation of reusable templates / layouts for web applications
• Exposure to W3C standard web and graphic designs
• Expert in producing cross browser compatible code and strong ability to troubleshoot JS / browser issues
• Should be comfortable with JQuery, JSON, XML, Ajax, etc

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of WCAG guidelines.
• Experience with Adode Photoshop / CS will be an advantage.
• Knowledge on converting ideas from UX to design then to web

Skills

· 5+ years hands-on experience implementing UI interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3 for web or mobile.

· Expert in HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap 3. Must demonstrate these skills during the interview.

· Strong familiarity with UI design practices and an eye for simplicity and elegance.

· Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss complex technical topics with varying different audiences.

· Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.

· Creative ideas with problem solving mindset.

· Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.

· Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.

· Analyse user interface problems and create design solutions that bridge user and business goals.
