Skills

• 4-8 years of work experience as a UX practitioner in software, web and mobile environments, preferably in enterprise software.
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or a similar related field and has a passion for product design.
• Experience in design with a focus on software applications.
• A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional design skills and design thinking.
• Expertise in most commonly used professional design and prototyping tools like Adobe suite, Sketch, Invision, etc.
• Good understanding of the capabilities of HTML, CSS, and JS.
• The ability and desire to apply their creativity to a variety of projects.
• Sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

• Understand product specifications and user psychology
• Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
• Create personas through user research and data
• Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
• Develop wireframes, Designs, and prototypes around customer needs
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
• Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to UI and other internal stakeholders
• Managing client communications for the design phase, explain / present work done and getting sign-off from clients

Skills

• Proven experience as a UX and UI Designer or similar role
• Strong portfolio of design projects
• Background in project management and research
• Familiarity with the e-commerce business
• Familiarity with the Style guideline
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
• Proficient in AdobeXD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and associated design tools(e.g. UXPin, Invision, Zeplin, etc.)
• Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
• Possess advanced knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI; adhere to and extrapolate complex design systems and apply to coded pages, screens, and states.
• Manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a team environment
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
• Knowledge of Bootstrap and Material design is a plus
