Job Description

Design and deliver wireframes and mockups, user stories, and user journeys that improve the usability of the product Help conduct user research to identify new opportunities and refine current features to improve the user’s experience Contribute to the UX library to enable a consistent framework for the front-end engineering team, including new and innovative data visualization solutions Partner with Product Managers to ensure delivery of the product roadmap by delivery Ensure new features are documented sufficiently for engineering to execute against Grow your skills across UX Strategy, UX Research and UX Design, under the supervision of the UX leader of the team Develop subject matter expert in our product capabilities and the markets we serve industry Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Skills

• Mastery of UX software such as Sketch, InVision, Framer.js etc. and at least a working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
• Extensive experience using UX best practices to design solutions
• Clear understanding of user-centered design and research
• Working knowledge of the technical, design and agile aspects of building software products (e.g. Scrum, DevOps)
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities in order to deliver on commitments.
• Results driven with great communication and collaboration skills.

Conduct competitor studies to analyze current market trends and latest design standards Create or work within the visual style guide of the brand that communicates theidentity, including the screen layouts, colour palettes, typography, user interface elements, and iconsCome up with visually appealing hi-fidelity screens by following the style guide Decision making including planning, prioritizing, and scheduling with respect to design project timelines Able to communicate the designs effectively & provide required UI components for development To collaborate with a cross-functional team, including Interaction designers, engineers and product managers to ensure the product is consistent and appealing

Skills

• Should be able to work on various interfaces including websites, mobile devices, apps, kiosks, games and wearables - following UI guidelines
• Expertise with Adobe and other design related tools
• Experience with prototyping tools – Adobe XD, InVision, Sketch etc.

• Should have strong typography, layout and visual design skills

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions
• Responsible for creating the look and feel of windows and web applications
• Good communication skills
• Ability to create wireframes as well as graphic design components
