Job Description

- Create user-centric designs by considering customer feedback and usability findings - Translate high level business requirements into tangible user interface solutions that integrate the latest standards in interaction design and visual design trends - Conduct usability research (expert reviews, competitive analysis, task analysis, card sorts, user interviews, and usability tests) and put together detailed, structured analysis of issues and potential solutions - Design the Information architecture, interface, and interaction flow of web & mobile applications that will result in increased consumption and revenue - Develop process flows, wireframes, and mock-ups to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behavior - Provide strong feedback to the products- visual design - Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications - Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and senior leadership for review and feedback - Contribute to the user experience knowledge repository by updating UI Guidelines and design processes and patterns - Influence and educate the product teams in user-centered design principles and processes

Skills

Master's degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual communication, Illustration or similar or Master's degree in Interaction design or Bachelor's degree with extensive work experience

- An excellent on-line portfolio showcasing user experience and visual design work for desktop applications and touch devices

- 2+ years- work experience creating user interface design in web, mobile-web, and app experiences or user experience design

- Strong abilities in sketching, mocking up, and evaluating interaction design

- A passion for improving and promulgating design processes

- Highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and other design tools.

- Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Aftereffects, or other tools is a plus.

- Icon design. 3D experience is a plus.

- Experience in designing app experiences from start to finish as a visual and UI designer with familiarity with development

- Experience with usability research tools and methods, including leading focus groups usability sessions to define and document end-user feedback

- Familiar with wireframes, mockups, user flow diagrams, and prototypes (Tools: Balsamiq, Axure, OmniGraffle, etc.)

- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
