Job Description

Stay well-versed and current on the latest design trends. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and fellow designers. Take an iterative approach to design while being collaborative and open to critique. Demonstrate the ability to design and co-ordinate with other designers to create intuitive, simple and compelling user interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience. Can work both independently and in a group, without daily management. Understanding of user experience as it relates to interactive design, including responsive design techniques, data-driven design decisions, etc. Brainstorm ideas with team and translate them into original design concepts and execute. Create design solutions that capture business, technology and user requirements. Should be able to articulate and defend designs to internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience in designer roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong understanding of visual design fundamentals, including layout, typography, color theory, etc.
• Expert in prototyping and design tools (including and not limited to) Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch.
• Should have experience in iOS and Android mobile app design with Native apps, Hybrid apps and Responsive design projects.

Job Description

Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement the complete UX and UI for the products Introduce new tools such as Sketch for design activities Create well-structured user tests, setup role-plays and paper prototypes and optimize the workflow Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and customers Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Skills

• Proven UI experience
• Developing leading-edge web UI, for both desktop and mobile, using the latest technologies and patterns, incl. HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, SASS, LESS, Javascript, Sencha ExtJS, JQuery Mobile etc.
• Write high-performance, reusable code and work closely with design and technical teams to translate the design vision to web/mobile
• A team player who enjoys collaborating with others and is a quick learner with interest in new and emerging technologies and has strong communication skills
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
• Good understanding of current UI guidelines for iOS, Android and the Web. Should be able to handle multi-platform design
• Good insight into current web & app design trends and related creative spaces
• Strong communication skills
• Certification /Degree Usability /Interaction design will be preferred
