Job Description

Empathise with the user and their needs through user research, data and mood-boards. Define product style-guide, digital brand strategy and an evolving design system. Ideate experimental solutions based on user challenges, industry benchmarks and business requirements. Create high-fidelity prototypes that adheres to international UI design and motion standards with hand-off specifications across platforms. Test designs pre- and post-development to assist future iterations and innovation. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, engineers, quality analysts and data analysts to create an exceptional digital brand experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in branding and visual design including typography, colours, grids, layouts, responsive and mobile UI principles.
• Experience in user-centered interaction design and animations.
• Track record of building and shipping end-to-end digital product experiences across platforms.
• Skilled in Sketch or Figma, along with Principle. Bonus: After Effects.

1. Working closely with the product team and brainstorming the ideas and execute them until the last level 2. Applying user-centered design processes to create high-quality user experiences for Web, Mobile, and other platforms 3. Manage UX and Usability for complex web applications as a member of high energy teams 4. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and effectively manage many complex projects 5. Ability to sell usability of a product to the team 6. Build and maintain wireframes and prototypes of various user interfaces 7. Sync with the engineering team and make sure the designs and layouts blends 100% 8. Working with strict deadlines and delivering the projects to the respective team 9. Keep an eye on the competitive market and benchmark accordingly

Skills

4+ years of experience in user interface design for Web and Mobile UX (Android, iphone, ipad, WAP)

1. Great hands on Photoshop skills with an eye for detail

2. Must have a good understanding of typography, layout and color theory

3. Excellence in information architecture and usability

4. Excellent logical reasoning

5. Basic understanding of Web 2.0 concepts

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

7. Good team player with people management skills

8. A voracious reader of usability-related blogs/material

9. A prior portfolio that is truly innovative
