Job Description

As a User Experience Designer, you will be a key member of the Applications Experience and Design group. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with product owners, developers, and designers to create intuitive, easy-to-use experiences for people around the world. You will act as a designer, problem solver and customer advocate ensuring we deliver products that make work life better.

Skills

• BA/BS/ degree in Design or equivalent experience in the fields of Web and Mobile Development, Visual Design, or Interaction Design.
• 5+ years' industry experience in interactive visual design and/or user experience.
• Deep knowledge of usability best practices for web and mobile applications.
• Mobile and web application design experience across various platforms (iOS, Android, Windows) including an understanding of responsive web design.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end design process with a broad spectrum of hands-on skills including stakeholder interviews, storyboarding, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Experience in designing applications from sketches to wire-frames to high-fidelity mockups.
• Experience working with agile, lean and iterative development processes.
• Experience with front-end development, including Bootstrap, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Sass and/or JavaScript is preferred.
• Experience creating rapid prototypes.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills, as well as a solid knowledge of typography, color theory, UI design and layout principles.
• Experience implementing brand guidelines as part of a design system.
• Strong presentation, written and English speaking verbal communication skills.
• The ability to understand and defend design decisions as well as listen and incorporate feedback into the design.
• Strong portfolio that showcases the breadth of your work with details of your role on each project—from the initial concept to design delivery.
• Experience designing for enterprise software is a plus.

Job Description

Work collaboratively with Performance Analytics team, effectively integrating your design expertise inside a truly agile environment directly affecting ServiceNow products. Address Performance Analytics business problems by proposing design solutions Prepare detailed mockups and prototypes Adjust design solutions to the technical requirements of the development teams Provide a consistent experience across the mobile and desktop platforms. Participate in the development and maintenance of the company style guide to provide examples of core platform components and best practices.
