Job Description

Working as a part of different product teams on the design and development of various products in Senseforth's conversational AI suite. Being the user's voice in the products. Creating great user experiences while ensuring business viability and technical feasibility. Developing a deep, multi-faceted and ever-updating understanding of the product that acts as a strong foundation for comprehensive design solutions. Following a process-oriented approach to design that is adapted to an iterative and fast-paced product design and development cycle. Involving market insights, user research and user feedback in the design process, and utilising the same to validate design solutions. Working out multiple possible design solutions for tasks and challenges. Using quick prototypes, feedback and other techniques to choose the best solutions. Delivering solutions with great visual, information and interaction design. Documentation of designs for effective communication and collaboration. Ensuring fidelity between design and developed features by active collaboration with the development team. Sticking to deadlines and delivering as promised.

Skills

• A very good understanding of basic design principles
• Strong graphic design skills including layout, colour, typography, icons.
• Highly skilled in interaction design. A good understanding of basic principles of interaction design, and familiarity with commonly used design patterns.
• Skilled in communication and representation of complex information through effective use of information architecture and visualization.
• Skilled in data visualisation
• Experience in working with and developing design systems
• Good communication and writing skills in English Tools
• Proficient in use of prototyping tool such as Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD
• Familiarity with tools for image editing, vector editing, motion graphics
• Familiarity with productivity tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, presentation software etc

Job Description

Maintain and suggest evolutions of our Design Principles and existing style guides. Creative use of the Design Principles and existing visual frameworks creatively to produce designs and, where appropriate, new styles and patterns that are visually cohesive with the rest of the Senseforth’s products. Develop strong relationships with other technical teams at Senseforth and work with them to influence the entire Senseforth ecosystem.

Skills

• 1 to 3 years of industry experience designing solutions for web, mobile and desktop.
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field
• Experience working with, and contributing to design systems.
• Solid intuition and a strong passion for detailed interaction design.
• An eye for system-level details and a knack for building modular designs.
• Proficient in Sketch, Adobe XD/Photoshop and tools for UI Prototyping such as Invision, Marvel, etc
• Ability to work in a team, communicate well, stick to deadlines and deliver as promised

Skills

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Knowledge of modern build tools/task runners like gulp
• Working experience in any backend programming languages is a plus.
• Understanding of NodeJs is a plus.
• Should be able to join within a maximum time frame of two months
• Preference would be given to the candidates based in Bangalore
