Job Description

Take ownership of the visual experience design strategy and execution across the entire product line and related artifacts.  Define a visual design standard and style guide for all Product UIs including desktop, web browser and mobile.  Understand the end user context and the product objectives to design visual elements that have maximum impact on the users.  Work closely with the UX design team and provide visual design artifacts for all the new enhancements and changes being done in the Product.  Produce high quality visual design elements including on-screen graphics, images and icons for desktop, web and mobile devices.  Work alongside the Product Engineering team during the product build cycles to support the development process with visual elements as and when required.  Backup innovative ideas and instincts by gathering factual data and user feedback using surveys and questionnaires.  Keep in touch with relevant technology design trends and keep aligning our product offering accordingly

Skills

A graduate degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent) from a reputed institute with a specialization in Graphic Design or Digital Arts.  A minimum of 2 years of experience in visual design for digital web-based or mobile software products.  Excellence in Photoshop, Illustrator and similar packages for graphics design  Excellent communication and presentation skills to demonstrate visual concepts and ideas.  A good eye for aesthetics: layouts, color theory and typography

A design portfolio to demonstrate your past work including illustrations and drawing skills.

It would be nice if you have:

 Experience working on Web and native Mobile applications for a software product organization  Experience in Web Development with the latest versions of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  Exposure to responsive design and visual design for web platforms, mobile apps and native windows applications.  Experience with visual design for documents and presentations.  Exposure to video processing and editing.
