Driving user-centered design solutions that deliver value to millions of users Employing innovative and effective strategies to solve user interaction challenges that push creative boundaries Creating and maintaining vision and design specifications, wireframes, and interactive prototypes Using design and analysis tools to define problem statements and drive solutions Utilizing and contributing to our internal design system Working closely with cross-functional/multi-disciplinary teams including other UX designers, software architects, developers, and product managers to iteratively design concepts and interactions for our products. Interacting with customers and end users to better understand their needs and translating those needs into innovative solutions

Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing interactive user experiences for technology products that serve medium-large customer bases
• Advanced education from a premier design institution combined with a strong portfolio of interaction and product design process and deliverables
• An eye for detail, a thorough understanding of modern and emerging UX design principles and methods, and a user-centric, data-informed approach to UX design
• Self-starter with keen ability in obtaining clarity from ambiguous design requirements
• Ability to work quickly and iteratively with multi-disciplinary, globally distributed teams
• Proficiency prototyping interactive designs using a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, Axure, and UXPin
• Ideally, experience designing non-trivial native mobile or responsive apps
• Ideally, experience mentoring less experienced designers and helping them grow in their careers

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires both strong creative problem solving skills and independent self-direction. This individual has a desire to work in a fun, innovative and highly collaborative environment and has a passion for creating amazing solutions and keeping a sharp eye out to ensure that the user experience is beautifully consistent across the application. If accepted, candidates will join a team of star developers responsible for creating Saba's next-generation offering, Saba Cloud.

Skills

• One or more years of user experience design experience for software, Web applications which leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices
• Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability
• Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
• Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
• Strong working knowledge of popular design tools such as Sketch 3, Adobe Suite etc.
• Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
• Strong team player
• Understanding or experience in Agile development

• Strong working knowledge of popular design tools such as Basalmiq, Photoshop, etc.
